I know Lulu, and he has a record of joining guilds stealign there builds, wiping them from there forums and making videos to claim them as his idea. Not that hes stolen my builds, i just know how he is and I dont believe anything that comes from anyone he is even remotely connected to.

Nice vid though, loved the choregraphy at the end, and especially the newbish remarks by shock rampage. None the less even if lulu is a somewhat shady character i give complete props to anyone who made this build even if it was lulu who may have somehow come up with this on his own.

^^^ Yep, and I can confirm this. Lulu was once in my guild and stole our build. She posted it somewhere on this message board I believe. Oh well, w/e. I won't b**** because I know everyone on this board will suck-up and try to defend her even though most of them don't know her.

I will say, however, she helped my 3rd character through Thirsty River when the Invinci-Monk was still kicking strong, so she's not completely bad I guess.

However, I think people who steal guild builds and post them as their own are just wrong.

Back on topic: kickass video. Who says necroes can't whoopass?

=T Stealing builds is new? I think sooner or later someone else is going to come across the same build. But hey, he has my support because he posted the build... not like those uber ninjas with their super secret anti-smite builds that also pwns everything else.

Yeah... you invent a build then a have someone come along into your guild, steal the build to use as their own, then post it on one of the biggest GW message boards and claim it as her own, then tell me you wouldn't be the slightest bit upset.

Stealing a build from someone you see using it is differant from perposely going into another guild to spy on their build.

Actually, I know Lulu personally, and although she posts builds, she does not claim credit for them. In the case of this video, it was PaulOtt's work, and one should realize the difference between an important participant and an author. In Guild Wars, builds are often recycled, refined, and renewed as time passes. What you claim to be *your* build might in fact be a build that someone else has ran in the past -- with some differences and slight modifications. As such, it's not only an extreme case of arrogance to proclaim that it's your build alone, but also a blow and a disgrace to every other precursor of that build.

In the case of this necro build as shown by the video, Paul has said many times before that the first time that he has seen the build was from a mention made by Adam of the Fianna. This idea was dormant until Isaiah (known affectionately as Izzy, and who is also our beloved skills balancer of ANet) made this current build into what is seen in the video today. Lulu never claimed any ownership to the build -- other than an active participation and an integral part as the designated target caller of this build.

Now, to analyze this quote.. your accusation is based on the claim that you "know Lulu," and yet, a mere sentence later, you say that "not that he has stolen my builds, I just know how he is." That is a tremendous contradiction of terms -- one which I find quite unbelievable since you repudiated your own words in the very next sentence you wrote. during the credits while panning the camera around i noticed the male that was standing with his back to the camera, and his cape caught my eye.

could you by chance tell me who that was?

also, awesome build im anxious to try it out. does this work well with any other build, or is it strictly for use only with the 6 necro 2 monk build? thanks for the awesome video and ideas

That male was Trexton of Te. Their cape probably looks different today.

The entire build was centered around spike damage. Not sure how well that specific individual necro build would work in other team builds.

Actually lulu is claiming credit for this, by not giving credit to the person who actually made this build and making a movie about it with there name on it and noone else, yes thats stealing, imagine for a moment that someone came along with the new hit movie in the cinemas, did great and made tons, then a year down the line say some famous director seres the movie and realizes that was his script, by that person putting out evidence out there well before anyone else they claim credit, thats the point to putting the evidence out there, no matter how you look at it its passively claiming credit even if you never actually claim that you made it.
Secondly I dont know who you know to be lulu, but obviously where talking about differant people, while I agree everyone in the world has the capacity to be great people, everyone has friends who will stick up for them no matter what, I commend the fact that you would stick up for your friend, in fact I too would be quick to jump at a argument for most any of my friends. Simply put Im merely stating what I know, dont get mad at me for the track record of someone else, its not my fault, and since you do talk to with lulu everyday you should take a page from her book and not jump to pick a fight whenever you can, staying calm under pressure is something that should be admired and obviously not a trait that youve learned from her.
Like I said before whoever made this build, congrats, even though this build was originally designed awhile ago adapting it to the current meta game must have been quite difficult, and even if I do say that lulu steals builds I do have to admittedly say that lulus video is one of the very few teams in gw's that could pull off such a feat of skill with success, and like I said above, i congrats to lulu and the team on that. Unlike you however Im not blinded by how I feel and I can honestly say congrats to lulu for what was accomplished here.
Also yes I agree lulu, all personal life should be left personal, no need to bring in that crap, id be pretty pissed if someone started talking about my personal life here.

I know alot of people in guild wars, and i dont claim to be friends with any of them, im friends with my guild, and my friend list, by knowing someone doesnt mean im intimetely involved or otherwise close to that person, lulu may be a valued part of the guild wars community but so are thousands of people, the fact that so many people "know" lulu does not mean that every single person has to be directly linked to her, for instance I honestly dont know if lulu is a girl or a guy, hence ive accidently refered to her as a him on a few occasions, thus contridicting myself, the fact that a simple contradiction occurs doesnt mean an entire argument is flawed, it merely means a portion is mis informed due to a lack of actually spending hours and hours playing with the person, most everyone I know in guild wars spends alot of time playing and has played since the beginning including myself and most everyone I know actually knows lulu, maybe there not all the greatest of friends with lulu but they KNOW her, just like I do, we are fully aware of her, just like every other prominent member of the community. As soon as this was post occured it was posted in my guild forum and we all looked at it, and we all talked about it, I personally gave this link to just about everyone on my friends list to show them the video, and guess what, most everyone on my friends list knows lulu as well, sadly however the majority of players has the same thing to say that I do, however the majority of players I know wouldnt give lulu the credit that I would which is to say that yes she is skilled and yes the players she plays with are skilled, take that as you will but like I said earlier, im not the one to get pissed at over what i have to say, what i have to say is merely a natural cause of actions, to your suprise Im sure alot of players have brains and actually remember the past.

And no paul did not credit thsi to someone else, he said the idea may have come from someone name whatever, and then later on he continued to say that it didnt even matter, thus discrediting anyone who may have created it, when people look at this thread they will view the movie, thats it, the only people who care enough to read through 4 or 5 pages of threads are people who know anyone involved with this build and anyone who really just doesnt have anythign to do with there time, if you want to give credit then you should post it on the movie, plain and simple in the title "we did not create this we just perfected it" would do wonderful and would clear up all misconceptions that are being caused. You could make yourself look like anythign you wanted merely by leaving out the smallest details, something I figure your well aware of.

Again.. please be informed before you make accusations. I'm getting rather tired of repeating this. Lulu did NOT make this video. Her name is there at the bottom of the quotes because we all thought it was funny. Yes -- WE. Meaning.. more than one. The maker of the film is Paul Ott. Please please PLEASE stop the misinformation. As for "making a movie about it with there name on it and noone else," besides the fact that Lulu did NOT make the video (other than being one of the many people shown in it), did you watch it from beginning to end? Paul's name comes first as the creator of the film during the credits. Then comes a nice rolling list of names in which I'm actually the first one acknowledged (thanks to alphabetical ordering), and in which Lulu is actually in the middle.

There is something seen as the body of a film and another quite different matter called credits and acknowledgment. The film, in this case, is the first six or so minutes. The credits -- the part that you should be looking at -- is at the very end. Please check it again.

P.S. lynxxClan.. you realize that the "contradiction" I pointed out and quoted from your post did not refer to Lulu's gender, but rather the fact that you said something like "I know him and he steals builds" and then promptly added something along the lines of "he never actually stole my builds but I just know it."

That's a rather large and plain contradiction.. and it has nothing to do with Lulu's personal life (and in this case, gender).

Believe it or not the last place we look for new builds is on forums / from other teams.

You can argue about who first came up with it for as long as you like but nearly all these builds have been thought up and run in alpha months before the game was launched so noone has exclusive right or claim, the whole idea is ludicrous.

You know why I didn't give credit to anyone about the build? Because it doesn't matter. There. I said it. It is completely pointless. You want to know the first time I heard about this Necro spike build? 6ish months ago Adam of Fi got a group of us together to run it. Does it matter who thinks of it first? Who reinvents it? Who steals? Who copies? Who remembers? It's a fruitless pursuit because so many people can independently come up with these builds themselves. And, ultimately, it makes no difference.

I do agree with one thing you said. We probably are talking about different people. So stop spreading your crap about the LuLu depicted in this video and the one posting on these forums. If there is another "Lulu" that is joining your guild and stealing your builds, I'm sorry to hear, but don't blame this LuLu.
